Graduate of the Stanford Ignite entrepreneurship programme and a First Class Honours degree in mechatronics engineering, Daniel leads a startup blending new technology that help us live healthier lives.
An honorary member of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, where Daniel received his PhD developing wearable motion-capture sensors for StretchSense. His work was featured on the BBC and 3 of his patents have been licensed through Uniservices.
At university, Daniel led the winning team of the Microsoft Imagine Cup, representing New Zealand at the world finals in Russia. An Alumni of the Spark (Velocity) programme. He was awarded 1 of 10 AMP National Scholarships in 2015.
Daniel spends his weekends chasing the surf and snowboarding on the mountain.
